Privacy Policy

Wopara Group. Last updated 15 July 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wopara Group ("Wopara", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information across wopara.com and all of our products and services. One Wopara account is shared across the Group, so this policy applies to all of it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and profile. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. You may add a username, date of birth, and other profile details. Some features ask for identity verification (KYC) information.
  • Membership and reserves. Your plan, reserves balance, subscriptions, gifts, and related history.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last digits and status) but we do not store your full card number.
  • Content you create. Information you enter into Wopara products, such as courses progress, forms, tickets, bookings, family connections, website briefs, designs, and AI prompts.
  • Teaching contributions. If you apply to teach on Wopara Network we collect your resume, the video links you submit, notes, and, if you qualify, the payout details you provide (such as account name, bank, and account number) so we can pay you. Your submitted videos are reviewed and graded, including by AI tools, as described under AI processing.
  • Communications. Messages and support requests you send us.
  • Usage, device, and cookies. Technical data such as device, browser, IP, and how you use the Services, collected through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. The shared account pill also stores some preferences (such as your appearance theme) locally on your device.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services and your account across the Group.
  • To process payments, memberships, reserves, and gifts.
  • To deliver product features you request, including AI features.
  • To personalise your experience, including appearance and saved preferences.
  • To send essential service messages, and marketing where permitted.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations.

3. AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the inputs you provide (such as a website brief, document, image, or prompt) and necessary context may be sent to our AI service providers to generate a response. This includes teaching applications on Wopara Network, where your resume and submitted videos are sent to AI providers to review and grade them. We use these providers to deliver the feature and do not authorise them to use your inputs to train their public models beyond what their terms permit. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed this way.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

  • Service providers who run the Services on our behalf, including Google Firebase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), form and AI providers, and domain, hosting, and email providers for the Webstore. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • Other users where a feature is designed to share, for example a public profile, a meeting host page, a ticket, or a family connection. Only the fields a feature is built to expose are shared.
  • Legal and safety, where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
  • Business transfers, if Wopara is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not work without them.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account, subject to records we must retain.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your account credentials private.

8. Your rights and choices

  • Access, correct, or update your profile in your account settings.
  • Opt out of marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link, by replying STOP, or by emailing us.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

To exercise a right, email support@wopara.com.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and accounts require you to meet the minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. International transfers

Wopara operates globally and uses providers that may process data in other countries. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

11. Third-party links

The Services link to external sites and products, including separately operated brands listed on wopara.com. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies before using them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For material changes we will give notice through the Services or by email. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
